SH2024B2 Two-Phase 64 Subdivision DC15V-36V 2A Hybrid Stepping Motor Driver

Overview:
SH2024B2 stepper motor drives are elaborately designed and developed two -phase hybrid stepper motor drive. The driver uses a PWM mode to drive , with a wide operating voltage range, high efficiency , phase current , the number of segments adjustable, automatic semi-flow characteristics, the phase current setting from 0.5-2A, the number of segments is set 2,4 , 8,16,32,64 total of six files , which can meet the requirements of the micro -step drive , " description " type of panel design makes operation easy and intuitive to use .

Input Power Interface : Using a set of DC power supply voltage is 15-36V, current 2A. VCC then positive , GND then negative .

Warning: The voltage can not exceed this range could cause malfunction , pay attention to positive and negative polarity.

Electric machine interface :For two -phase four -wire motorCan be connected directly to the drive (see Figure II A).

For the four -phase six -wire motorThe middle two vacant tap is not connected, the remaining four line drives connected ( shown in Figure II B).

For the four -phase eight -wire motorUsually there are two configurations :And connection method: Red Green Alliance long to short A +, short -linked red green long connected to A-, yellow and blue short to long associated B +, yellow and blue short -linked long connected to B- ( Figure two C).Connected in series: Red long connected to A +, short -linked red green short dangling green long connected to A-, Hwang Jang connected to B +, yellow and blue short -linked short vacant, blue long connected to B- ( Figure two D).

Note : Leave the joint properly handle , otherwise it will cause failure ( Figure II ) .

WARNING : The motor can not pick the wrong line , or they may cause damage to the drive. Long red and green long and short red and green short can not shorted.

- OPTO:Common terminal for input signals , OPTO end should be connected to VCC external systems. If VCC is + 5V can be connected directly , if VCC is greater than + 5V, then use to CP, DIR, FREE outer terminals are connected in series limiting resistor R, to ensure that the internal optocoupler drive current 8-15mA , see the table 1
- DIR:Direction level signal input, high and low control motor forward / reverse. Changes in signal level should be staggered over CP pulse falling 3us .
- FREE:Offline signal ( active low ) , when the input control terminal is low, the motor magnetizing current is turned off, the motor is offline free state.
- CP:Pulse signal input , falling edge , the signal level stabilization time is not less than 3us.
Warning : The input signal must use enough current ( general TTL, CMOS signal can not directly drive , but can not use the microcontroller pins like direct drive ) . Otherwise the system can not work reliably .

Phase current setting:SH2024B2 type drive using phase current DIP switch settings , specifically set Table 2 and Table 3 . After the drive is set to step motor subdivision angle equal to the entire motor step angle divided by the number of segments. For example : the number of segments is set to 2 , two-phase motor drive 0.9 / 1.8 , which is broken down step angle of 1.8 / 2 = 0.9 . Note : DIP switch ON = 0, OFF = 1, the number of segments to be set up after the drive power reset ( or offline time ) to be valid .

Third, the shape and dimensions
Drive using shell construction with radiator , the installation should pay attention to the heat of the drive. ( Unit: mm)

Package included:
- 1 x Stepping Motor  Driver
