1. What is a DC power supply converter?

Electrical devices that transform a range or fixed value of direct current (DC) voltage into another variable or fixed value of direct current (DC) voltage are collectively called a DC converter.

There are two common modes on the market:
1. Constant voltage source (CV mode) changes with load but the voltage does not change, and output voltage is constant; 2. Constant current source (CC mode) output current with the change of the load does not change.

The difference between isolated and non-isolated: isolated power supply means that the negative poles of input and output terminals are isolated, while non-isolated power supply means that the negative poles of the input and output are connected (common ground).

2. How to choose a suitable converter?
When choosing a converter, please select a converter with the same voltage as your load. How to choose the power of converter? Converter's power used depends on the power required by your load. For example: your load is a 65W notebook computer, then the power of converter you purchase must be ≥65W.

If your load is an inductive load driven by a compressor motor, such as a refrigerator, water pump, motor air conditioner, etc., then the power of converter you choose must be more than 4 times the rated power of the load. For example: When load is a 100W motor, then the power of converter you choose must be ≥400W.

3. Your equipment requires a 12V/1A power supply. If you choose a 12V/3A power supply, when the current is so large, will the equipment burn out?
Note that the current marked on the DC converter is its maximum output current capability value. This maximum output current value is just an output reserve, not that the power supply always outputs such a large current. The actual situation is that the converter will output as much current as your device needs without exceeding the maximum output current value of the power supply.

The 12V/3A power supply to a 12V/1A equipment is safe, it will not burn the equipment, and the service life of the power converter is longer, and the effect will be better.

4. Is the output voltage of power supply adjustable?
The power supply is set before leaving the factory and cannot be adjusted. Customers need to choose appropriate DC power supply according to the voltage value required by their equipment.

5. How is power supply quality? Is the power sufficient?
The product is designed according to CE/RoHS specified standards, with a service life of up to 100,000 hours. Waterproof, damp-proof and shockproof. The products are made of brand-new imported components, with 100% full power and high stability output.
