CAT Converter Adapter for YAESU FT-817 857 897 PTT Convert for Audio Headphone Speaker

Using the adapter can realize the following functions:    
1. External speakers, headphones; External moving coil microphone, a microphone.    
2. The adapter with emergency PTT button for transmitting operation.    
3. The use of PTT socket of adapter, external PTT switch or pedal switch for transmitting operation.    
4. Use the adapter CAT port,and the machine's CAT , to realize computer or radio communication .(only for FT-857,FT-897, but not for FT-817)

Built-in jumper Settings:    
Set jumper inside machine, before using this product distribution of the Allen wrench open radio connection side panel for PCB. Pay attention to not lose the aluminum alloy PTT button.    
1. The MIC MODE: set an external microphone properties. When using the electret microphone, left short circuit (EC); When using a dynamic microphone, right short circuit (MC).    
2. The PHONE MODE: set external headset properties. When using mono headset or speaker, left short circuit (MONI); When using the STEREO headphones, right short circuit (STEREO).    

FT - 857, FT897 ,CAT function opening method:    
1. Long press FUNC button to enter the menu state.    
2. Rotate the SELECT button to No. 59 menu.    
3. Rotate the shuttle, the menu mode will switch between NOR/RMT/CAT.    
4. Adjustment to the CAT mode, long press FUNC to return, set up the settings.
