Pixhawk PPZ MK MWC Pirate PPM Encoder PPM Encoder for Multicopter Flight Control
Description:
- PPM encoder is for encoding PWM signals of multi channels output by receiver into PPM compound signal output, and connect with support flight control with single cable
- Some flight control only adimits PPM signal to save termianls or limitated by space, so it needs PPM encoders. Some receiver can directly output PPM signal, such as Graupneer. PPM signal can be directly used to connect simulator and receiver
Note:
- PPM signal is similar with S.BUS, XBUS signal, they are channel signal transmitted by sigle cable, but encoding mode is totally different, not compatible.
- This PPM encode hardware is originated from PPZ PPM encoder, default firmware is developed by 3DR.
- if you need to change functions by yourself, please prepare ISP encoder. The preset version is V2.3.16 for arducopter version, suitable for muulticopter
Power supply choice:
- Default power supply mode: PPM encoder is powered by flight control, is not directly connected with receiver
- Jumping cables on the welding plate can help receiver get power from PPM receiver, please choose the right power supply mode according to the needs
