1. Safety
This supercapacitor spot welder integrates a microcontroller control system and a hardware balancing circuit. Based on mature control technology, it ensures that the 5.6V-rated supercapacitor operates consistently at 5.0V, leaving a safe voltage margin to prevent over-voltage. A 10-MOSFET array controls the discharge, and each current output is visible on the LCD screen. Before shipment, every unit undergoes a rigorous process including welding tests, calibration, and short-circuit testing—ready to use straight out of the box without additional adjustment.

2. High Performance
Due to the ultra-low internal resistance of supercapacitors and a carefully engineered structure combined with dual-pulse welding, the machine delivers exceptional performance. With a 35 mm² setup, it can weld 0.3 mm nickel strips. Even at medium power levels, it can perform industrial-grade assembly of battery packs with 0.25 mm nickel-plated steel strips or 0.2 mm pure nickel strips. It delivers reliable performance (2100A as measured by oscilloscope and current probe).

3. Operability
Thanks to the energy-storage welding machine's structure and high-performance microcontroller for Microchip, the output power can be adjusted in 25 levels. The rotary knob allows for fast or slow turning, providing step increments of 1 ms or 0.1 ms, greatly improving user experience. Both automatic triggering and foot pedal modes are available, making the welder suitable for DIY projects as well as batch production.

4. Service Life & Maintenance of Wear Parts
The supercapacitor—the core component of the welder—is an extremely long-life component, capable of hundreds of thousands of cycles. The only wear parts are the welding pins. The package includes two spare alumina copper welding pins, suitable for welding nickel strips up to 0.25 mm thick. Due to the high power of the welder, using excessively high settings can cause slight melting at the pen tip, known in the industry as "tip sticking", which leads to wear. Advanced users may choose to upgrade to high-performance clamped tungsten welding pins (3.0 mm diameter replaceable).
