U30 DSD1024 USB Digital Interface Audio Interface Compatible with Digital Interface for Amanero
Description:
U30 USB digital interface is independently developed by XING Digital Audio Technology Group and has completely independent intellectual property rights. It supports DSD and PCM audio. Lossless output of SACD, CD, DXD and DVD Audio is supported. U30 supports up to PCM1536K and DSD1024. The audio interface is mainly composed of three chips: USB3300 is responsible for the physical transmission of USB data, STM32F446 (Cortex-M4 180MHz for ARM) is responsible for the main control and audio buffering, and original CPLD for ALTERA is responsible for audio signal output. The chips form absolute physical isolation between each other, do not compete for resources, and do not constitute interference. This is different from single-chip solutions and is an important indicator of a high-quality digital interface. This interface uses a 2520 crystal oscillator in a small package for ultra-low phase noise audio, with phase noise as low as -158dBc/Hz at 100kHz. The CPLD circuit has also been redesigned to optimize the clock generation part to give full play to the advantages of delicate transparency.
The interface also opens up configuration modes for advanced players. MCLK output frequency can be configured individually for any format. From 64Fs to 512FS and from 2.8224MHZ to 49.152MHz, the DAC chip can play an excellent performance. VIDs and PIDs as well as device strings can also be written arbitrarily to accommodate any standard USB 2.0 audio driver.
Supported formats and sampling rates are as follows: 32-bit PCM (backward compatible with 24-bit and 16-bit) formats support 44.1KHz, 48KHz, 88.2KHz, 96KHz, 176.4KHz, 192KHz, 352.8KHz, 384KHz, 705.6KHz, 768KHz, 1411.2KHz and 1536KHz sampling rates. It supports DSD64, DSD128, DSD256, DSD512 and DSD1024, and transmits losslessly via DoP (DSD64~512) or Native (DSD64~1024) protocols.
