- The latest hardware has been upgraded to support V1.6.2 firmware and GUI.

Precaution:
- LibreVNA has excellent performance, but it must be acknowledged that the product also has some shortcomings, such as heat dissipation issues. In the 2025 upgraded version of the new product, 6mm fins are mainly added to the top surface, and 4 positioning holes are added to the bottom surface. Customers can install larger heat sinks or pads (M3 x 6 nuts) themselves, which is convenient to use. Although the 2025 upgraded version has better heat dissipation performance, it is still recommended that customers add a fan for heat dissipation during long-term use. At the same time, in response to customer feedback about scratches on the surface, we have also done better treatment on the metal surface, striving to make LibreVNA a craft. At the same time, we have added a plastic film to make customers feel comfortable using it, although this does not affect the performance of the product.
- The 2025 upgraded version will also replace the original brass SMA with a four hole flange stainless steel SMA with greater torque, both of which are excellent connectors that can support up to 18G.

Description:
- TinyRFLab Libre is a VNA with dual port testing capability, which can simultaneously test S11, S12, S21, S224 parameters. It combines the powerful performance of Signal Analyzer and Signal Generator, and also supports socket based scpi command programming. When the device temperature stabilizes at around 30 degrees, the product performance reaches its optimal level. Customers with cooling needs can purchase their favorite fans themselves.
- Now S12 has achieved port isolation of over 90dB below 3GHz, allowing the use of harmonics for measurements above 6GHz. When tested up to 9GHz, both S11 and S22 have a port directionality of over 10dB, and S12 and S21 have a dynamic of over 40dB. When understanding the limitations of using harmonics, you can perform measurements above 6GHz.
- LibreVNA uses three ADCs for simultaneous data sampling and FPGA for signal processing. It can scan over 10000 full dual port measurements in one second and obtain complete dual port S-parameters (S11, S21, S22, S12) simultaneously. Using ultra-low noise power supply design and 16 bit ADC, coupled with a precision CNC aluminum shielding shell, enabling S21 to achieve effective dynamics of up to 100dB. Many aspects are already comparable to laboratory level VNA, but this is still an ongoing project. Some design features may not be perfect, especially when the frequency is higher than 3GHz, performance may decrease. Please fully understand the possible limitations before purchasing this device.

Note:
- Above 3GHz, the performance decreases with increasing frequency, and the port isolation is only 50dB at 6GHz. Below 1MHz, the performance decreases with decreasing frequency, and effectively dynamically decreases to 70dB at 100kHz.
- When the frequency is below 1MHz or above 3GHz, the output power may decrease.
