7-12V CS8412 Optical Coaxial to IIS Input Adapter Board Gold-plated RCA Socket for Nichicon Capacitor

Description:

- It is used for converting fiber optic and coaxial inputs to I2S for Philips format; paired with our R2R decoder DAC module for use, capable of modifying CDs, digital turntables, amplifiers, etc.

Features:
- For WIMA/Nichicon capacitor
- Adopting for Toshiba RX147 Optical connector
- Using CS8412 chip
- Gold-plated RCA audio socket
- 7 - 12V power supply
- Standard IIS interface
- Power supply: 7-12v single power supply, 500MA or above; it is sensitive to power supply, please try to work hard on the power supply as much as possible, there will be gains and improvements. It is recommended that you use a super good power board. (not included)
- This module can be connected directly to our R2R DAC board for use.

3 Main Signals for I2S:
- Serial clock SCLK, also known as bit clock (BCLK), means that for each bit of data corresponding to digital audio, SCLK has one pulse. Frequency of SCLK = 2 x sampling frequency x number of sampling bits.
- Frame clock LRCK, also known as WS, is used to switch data between left and right channels. A LRCK of "1" indicates that the data being transmitted is from the right channel, while a LRCK of "0" indicates that the data being transmitted is from the left channel. The frequency of LRCK is equal to the sampling frequency.
- Serial data SDATA, which is audio data represented by binary complements
- In addition to these three main signals: sometimes in order to achieve better synchronization between systems, an additional signal MCLK, also known as the main clock or Sys Clock, needs to be transmitted, which is 256 times or 384 times the sampling frequency. (Some decoders don't need this one, just leave it empty and don't worry about it.)

I2S Format:
- Left aligned (less commonly used)
- I2S format (i.e. the format specified by Philips) (this product)
- Align to the right (also known as Japanese format or regular format).
- To ensure the correct transmission of digital audio signals, the sending and receiving ends should use the same data format and length.
- Of course, the data length can vary for the I2S format.

Package Included:
- 1 x Optical to I2S Adapter Board
