ADAU1466 Core Board Designed for SIGMADSP Engineers Audio Maker DIYER

Description:

The ADAU1452/1466 core board is a quick development tool for SIGMADSP engineers and audio MAKER/DIYER. With isolated power layer, signal layer and GND layer, its 4-layer PCB board ensures high SNR. The board integrates ADAU1452 or 1466 DSP, reset circuit, USBI debug port (The core board can be powered by DC 5V separately by USBI), LDO from 5V to 3.3V, 12.288M passive crystal oscillator, SPI EEPROM external memory, start-up mode setting, etc. All I2S signals, SPI signals, I2C signals, SPDIF TX/RX ports, AUX ADCs are reserved by double-row pins on both sides (2*15, 2.54mm pitch). They can be used by users to design bottom boards.

Schematic diagram in PDF and key size data will be provided to buyers after purchasing. Because the item comes without audio bottom board, simple routines (such as EQ, LIMITER, CROSSOVER) and a brief introduction document will be offered. For specific programming methods, please refer to the SIGMASTUDIO online help or other SIGMADSP development board manuals.

Pins and codes of ADAU1452 and ADAU1466 are compatible with each other. The memory of ADAU1466 is more than twice as large as the ADAU1452, which means that if it is used to achieve delays, the 1466 can achieve longer delays or better reverberation.

Operating Instructions:
1.When the core board is normally supplied with a DC 5V power supply, the LDO will supply a 3.3V digital voltage to all devices on the board, and the red power LED will be turned on. The core board has burned a flash program before shipment. When the SELF-BOOT switch on the lower left side is turned on, and the board is powered on or the RESET button is pressed, Blue LED on the upper right side will flash. Pressing the button below Blue LED, LED will be on all the time. And then release the button, LED light will continue lighting.

2.The default of the core board is SPI as USBI debugging and start-up mode. Refer to the corresponding start-up interface configuration description of the schematic diagram, which can be modified to IIC start-up mode.
