Askar 2-inch Dual Band Pass Filter C1(Ha+OIII) for Mono and Colorful Camera DeepSky Photography

Description:

- The use of C dual bandpass filters can effectively enhance the contrast of the entire image, making it easier to present the detailed features of celestial bodies that were previously difficult to get. During the shooting process, even in areas affected by urban light pollution, atmospheric night glow, and other light sources, you can still take high-quality deep space photos.

- We refer to the Ha+OIII dual bandwidth filter as C1, and the SII+OIII dual bandwidth filter as C2. The combination of the two is the ColourMagic C filter set. This provides a new gameplay for color camera users to capture similar effects without using black and white cameras and three channel single narrow filters, helping astronomy enthusiasts enjoy more astronomical fun.

C1 Features:

- ColourMagic C1 dual bandpass filter (Ha+OIII) has a high transmittance of around 90% at central wavelengths (500.7nm and 656.6nm). This feature allows the filter to effectively improve the quality of the image, making the sky background of the image darker, while maximizing the contrast of the entire picture. For details of stars that are difficult to photograph, these details can be more easily represented in the image with the C1 filter. In areas where light pollution is very serious, the filter can also selectively filter light pollution and chaotic signals through the emission lines of the nebula to achieve the ideal shooting effect.

C2 Features:

- In addition to the traditional Ha+OIII dual narrow filter, the C filter is the same as the Super D filter, and another filter structure is introduced -- SII+OIII filter. When using color cameras to photograph deep space galaxies, double-band filters of Ha and OIII bands are often used to filter light, while single-band filters of Ha, SII and OIII bands are often used when using black and white cameras, so that users using color cameras will miss a band of nebula details. The use of C2 double bandpass filter (SII+OIII) can compensate for this lack, the band ColourMagic C2 double bandpass filter (SII+OIII) at the central wavelength 500.7nm and 672nm has a high transmittance of about 90%, which can effectively darken the sky background of the image. And maximize the contrast of the entire picture, so that the original difficult to photograph the detailed features of the star can be more easily presented. In areas where light pollution is very serious, the product can also selectively filter light pollution and chaotic signals through the emission lines of the nebula to achieve the ideal shooting effect.
