Description:
The
TOFSense-F2 P is a single-point laser rangefinder based on Time of
Flight (TOF) technology. It features a ranging distance of 0.05m to 40m
with a 1mm resolution and a data update frequency of up to 100Hz. The
sensor has a narrow Field of View (FOV) of 1° to 2° and supports UART
and IIC interfaces, as well as I/O complementary level output. In UART
mode, it offers both active and query-based data output options.
Features:
Advantages
* Ultra-long distance
* Multiple interfaces
* High cost-performance ratio
* Strong light resistance
Upper Computer Assistant
*
We provide the NAssistant upper computer assistant for free, which can
run on Windows and Linux platforms. It enables functions such as sensor
configuration, waveform monitoring, data analysis (e.g., standard
deviation and mean calculation), data recording, export and playback,
and firmware upgrade.
Daisy-Chain Rangefinding
* Multiple
LiDAR sensors can be configured with different IDs and daisy-chained.
The corresponding ID, ranging data, signal strength, and other
information of all sensors can be read through a single communication
interface on the user-side controller, significantly reducing the
occupation of interface resources.
Rich Modes and Interfaces
*
Supports multiple communication interfaces including UART, CAN, IIC,
and IO, with active output and passive query modes to meet the
requirements of different development architectures.
High Compatibility
*
Inheriting Nooploop's high-compatibility development principle, direct
replacement of different TOFSense series product models without
re-development is possible, greatly reducing R&D investment and
development time for different projects.
More Reliable Optical Filtering
*
A special filter for a specific infrared band filters out interference
signals at the data source, making the captured raw data more accurate
and the sensor's anti-interference capability stronger and more
reliable.
Small Size and Light Weight
* While ensuring
performance, it pursues a smaller size and lighter weight, making it
easier to integrate into existing equipment and high-integration
products.
Low Power Consumption
* Supports switching between
working mode and low-power mode via protocol to meet the long endurance
requirements of battery-powered devices.
Upper Computer Debugging Assistant
*
The NAssistant upper computer debugging assistant supports running on
Windows and Linux platforms, enabling functions such as sensor
configuration, waveform monitoring, data recording, export and playback,
and firmware upgrade.
Rich Development Toolkits
* Provides
engineering code for mainstream microcontrollers such as STM32/Ar-duino,
and supports platforms like the ROS robot operating system and APM
open-source autopilot, significantly shortening your project development
cycle.
Solution Cases:
Intelligent Conveyor Detection
*
The laser radar installed at a fixed point detects the precise distance
of goods on the conveyor line to count the quantity of goods. By
measuring multiple distance status indicators with an area array laser
radar, the shape and category of goods can be identified, significantly
reducing misjudgments caused by environmental interference. Common
application scenarios include warehousing and logistics, automated
production lines.
Hydraulic Material Pile Detection
* The
laser radar installed at the top opening detects material level height
information downward. The area array laser radar can further measure
multiple heights such as the center and edge inside the silo, thereby
distinguishing the shape of the material surface (concave, convex,
flat). Common application scenarios include intelligent trash bin
overflow and switch control, silo grain storage, and mineral pile
detection.
Smart Traffic Detection
* The laser radar installed
on the road gantry counts the number of passing vehicles. The driving
speed can be obtained through ranging from multiple laser radars at
different times; when installed on the garage ceiling, it can determine
the usage status of parking spaces. Common application scenarios include
traffic flow statistics, vehicle speed measurement, and parking space
statistics.
Drone Altitude Hold
* Install a laser radar at the
bottom of the drone to detect the distance to the ground, thus
achieving drone altitude hold. The area array laser radar measures the
unevenness of the ground, reducing altitude hold fluctuations caused by
non-horizontal ground. Commonly used in agriculture, surveying and
mapping, inspection, and consumer-grade drones.
Robot Obstacle Avoidance
*
Install one or more laser radars in the robot's detection area. The
daisy-chain ranging mode reduces the occupation of communication
interface resources, increasing the detection range and safety
redundancy. Common application scenarios include automatic obstacle
avoidance for commercial cleaning robots, meal delivery robots, and
forklift anti-collision.
Smart Life
* Integrate laser radar
into various smart hardware devices to realize intelligent functions,
such as integrating into sprint timing equipment to monitor athletes'
speed, integrating into fitness equipment to monitor fitness data, and
integrating into automatic door smart devices to realize automatic
opening and closing.
