DC 5-120V Current Voltage Meter Voltage Current Display Range ±100A Resolution 0.2A WLS-HVA100

Description:

The DC Hall ammeter uses a Hall current sensor, which breaks all the limitations and restrictions of the ammeter using ordinary metal shunts. This meter is powered by DC5-120V power supply. It is very convenient to directly measure the battery (not included) voltage of electric vehicles, automobiles, etc.

Features:
- The middle hole of the sensor allows the wires to pass directly through the hole without cutting wires.
- This meter can measure the current of the positive and negative poles of the power supply at will, without worrying about the common ground of the ammeter.
- High reliability, high resistance to current shock. The ammeter will not be damaged by current shock.
- Thanks to unique current channel, current can be measured stably at full scale for a long time without affecting its lifespan.
- Super bright LED display can be clearly displayed outdoors during the day.
- It can measure the forward and reverse currents. + current is displayed in the forward direction, and-current is displayed in the reverse direction.
- Power supply adopts a switch-type step-down design, which can be used for a long-term maximum voltage of 120V.
- The withstand voltage value between the conductor to be measured is up to: 2KV.

Using Methods:

Step 1: As shown in the figure below, you can connect DC 5-120V power supply to "power supply +" and "-".

Step 2: As shown by the red arrow in the figure below, pass the wire to be measured through the hole of the sensor.

How to Use the Buttons on the Back?
1. Short press the button on the back to switch display modes alternatively. There are 3 displaying modes.
【1】Current & voltage alternate display modes.
【2】Current display mode.
【3】Voltage display mode. (Attention: The measured voltage is the voltage of the power supply of the ammeter.)

2. Switching Method of Current Voltage Display Mode:
(1) Short press the button on the back, the screen will display "A", which means that it is current display mode, and only current is displayed.
(2) Short press the button on the back again, the screen will display "AU", indicating that current and voltage are displayed in turn. The screen will alternately display voltage and current. (Attention: When current is displayed, the screen will flash. When voltage is displayed, the screen does not flicker. )
(3) Short press the button on the back again and the screen will display "U", indicating that it is in voltage display mode, and only the power supply voltage of the meter is displayed.

3. Long press the button on the back of 2S and release it, the screen will display "CCC" to clear the current value to zero.

Attention:
- The button operation will be stored inside the chip and saved after power off.
- In current & voltage alternate display mode, when current is displayed, the screen flashes.

FAQ:

- Q1: How to power the ammeter and what are the methods?
- A1: The supply voltage of the Hall ammeter can be maintained between DC5-120V. When applied to electric vehicles, you can use a 12V power supply of dashboard of the electric vehicle, a 5V power supply of the Hall element or a 12V power supply of the controller. You can also directly use the power supply voltage of electric vehicle battery. Attention: The voltage cannot exceed 150V. If it exceeds, the tester will be burned out.

- Q2: How to clear the tester?
- A2: If the ammeter has a current jump of 0.1A when measuring 0A, this is normal. If the current is greater than 0.1A when testing 0A, you can press and hold the clear button on the back for 2S to clear it.

- Q3: Is the Hall ammeter is equipped with a sensor?
- A3: This Hall ammeter already includes a LED display meter and a sensor. Extra sensor is not required.
