Description:
This is a bionic dexterous hand specially designed for dexterous manipulation research, reinforcement learning (RL) and embodied intelligence. It breaks the high cost barrier of high-performance dexterous hands. With an overall weight under 400 grams and a fully open-source architecture, it simplifies and streamlines the verification of complex dexterous manipulation algorithms.

Aero Hand Open employs a tendon-driven actuation architecture in which each motor distributes force through low-friction cable pathways to multiple joints, delivering coordinated motion without increasing actuator count.

This shared tendon routing keeps the hand under < 400 grams, while the compliant cable runs absorb impact energy to cushion interactions with objects and users.
