- AS8 Pro+ features a significantly reinforced power supply stage, upgrading from 6 to 12 bulk capacitors, doubling the total reservoir capacitance from 28,200 µF to 56,400 µF.
- Each capacitor is upgraded to industrial-grade series for Vishay known for high ripple current capability and long-term stability.

Magshield™:
- AS8 Pro+ introduces MagShield™, a partitioned shielding architecture based on internal functional zoning.
- In the transformer section, a dedicated shielding plate with an integrated coil structure is employed to manage magnetic interference paths, suppress power-related magnetic disturbances, and reduce coupling to the clock, power stages, and other low-level circuits.
- As a result, a more controlled and stable operating environment is provided for critical circuitry.

Dual High-Performance Toroidal Transformers for Power supply:
- To isolate power-related interference and minimize cross-system interaction, AS8 Pro+ employs two “Porcupine” toroidal transformers for NORATEL, providing fully independent power channels for the clock system and the switching circuitry.
- This design ensures that the 10MHz master clock and its distribution modules operate under stable and isolated power conditions, supporting higher clock precision.
- At the same time, it delivers robust and stable power to key modules including the 2.5G/1G main controllers, SFP optical ports, and isolation zones.

- The 2.5G main data zone and the 1G isolated audio zone are linked via an internal optical fiber connection -- fully integrated within the switch, not dependent on external modules.
- By converting electrical signals to optical transmission between the two domains, the system achieves true opto-electronic isolation, effectively eliminating ground loops, common-mode noise, and high-frequency interference.

Gold-Plated Grounding Terminal (Fine-tuned grounding for a quieter system):
- The AS8 Pro+ is equipped with a dedicated grounding terminal and grounding control switch, designed to provide flexible and pristine grounding management. This minimizes AC ground loop interference and ground noise, significantly enhancing overall audio performance.
- The grounding terminal allows the device to be independently grounded, effectively isolated from the AC power ground (mains ground), When connected to a dedicated ground network or high quality audio ground, it prevents high-frequency interference, voltage fluctuations, and ground loop noise typically introduced by traditional AC grounding, greatly improving background silence and the audio system’s detail reproduction capabilities.
