Description:
The USB2CANFD-X2 is a plug-and-play high-speed USB 2.0 to CAN FD adapter that connects dual-channel CAN FD networks to a computer via USB. Each CAN FD channel features independent galvanic isolation from the USB side, with a withstand voltage of up to 2500V.

The updated CAN FD (CAN with Flexible Data Rate) standard delivers higher data transfer bandwidth. A single CAN FD frame supports up to 64 data bytes, compared to the old limit of only 8 bytes, and transmission bit rates can reach 12 Mbit/s. The USB2CANFD-X2 is equipped with a 120Ω termination resistor, which can be enabled or disabled through software.

CAN bus connection is realized via a 9-pin D-Sub connector compliant with CiA 303-1 standards.
Drivers for Windows and Linux are provided. The device is compatible with Windows systems and Linux Socket CAN.

CAN bus monitoring software and programming interfaces for CAN-based application development are included with the adapter, and both fully support the CAN FD standard.
