Introduction:
- With the help of the new AFE4490 integrated circuit, combined with the development board for Ar-dui-no and finger pulse oxygen spo2 sensor, blood oxygen saturation can be measured. Our expansion board performs excellently in measuring heart rate and blood oxygen saturation.
- Pulse oximetry is an indirect method for measuring the level of oxygen in the blood. The sensor calculates the oxygen level in the blood by measuring the amount of red and infrared light wavelengths absorbed by the blood. The measurement is completed through a probe clamped on the finger, which includes an emitter and a light sensor.
- Compatible with ProtoCentral OpenView unified data visualization software.

Reminder:
- Due to the fact that the amount of blood flowing through any blood vessel varies with the pumping rate (pulse) of the heart, it can be used to measure heart rate without connecting any electrocardiogram electrodes.
- Important note: This is only a prototype board for SpO2 design and evaluation and should not be used as a medical diagnostic device.
