Description:
- There are two communication interfaces: WiFi and isolated USB. Using WiFi wireless communication can provide greater freedom, while using isolated USB port, due to its wired interface, transmission is more stable and not affected by RF interference.
- WiFi access supports both AP and STA modes. In AP mode, the EEG acquisition module itself emits a hotspot, which is equivalent to a router, and the upper computer can join the network; In STA mode, the EEG acquisition module can be integrated into an existing network.
- The signal isolation voltage for isolating USB ports is 6000V, which is safer and can reduce common mode interference. The signal acquisition quality is better compared to without isolation.
- Using ESP32S3 processor to drive ADS1299 for EEG acquisition, this solution has higher integration. The single-chip ESP32S3 processor serves as the main control and integrates WiFi communication function internally. Compared with the solution of main control + communication module, it has lower power consumption and more sensitive response.
- Built-in 2000mAH high-capacity lithium battery and charging management circuit.
- Under WiFi communication mode, it can support multiple sampling rates such as 250, 500, 1000, 2000, 4000, etc., with a maximum of 4000 sampling rate synchronous sampling supported under 8 channels and a maximum of 2000 sampling rate synchronous sampling supported under 16 channels.
- By issuing commands, the serial port baud rate can be configured to 115200 or 921600, supporting multiple sampling rates such as 250, 500, 1000, 2000, etc. The maximum support for synchronous sampling is 2000 sampling rate in 8-channel and 1000 sampling rate in 16 channel.
- On the 16 channel version of the expansion board, a 2-channel isolated external trigger interface is designed, which can be used to synchronize with external events and conduct research on event-related potentials (SSVEP).
- On the 16 channel version, a button is designed to trigger the Holter function, which stores the collected EEG signals in the local TF card instead of transmitting them to the PC acquisition software. The storage format is the BDF format of the EEG standard.
