Both ports can be programmed and connected to a touch screen. When programming, use USB-232 cable for the 9-pin port; Use USB-TTL cable for the 4-pin port. When connecting the touch screen, the 232 level 9-pin port is directly connected to the touch screen using a 9-pin male to female cable (in reality, only 3 wires are used, namely 2-2, 3-3, and 5-5).
