- The right-angle adjustment bracket is compatible with Ø1" (25.4mm) optical elements, providing the largest clear aperture for transmitted light, and providing space for operating installed optical elements. The rear-mounted design does not limit the thickness of the optical components to be installed. Even if the mounting base is equipped with a cage rod or a lens tube, the installed optical components can still be operated. Teflon gaskets can be used to install optical components with a thickness of less than 3mm, which can protect the lens (sold separately).
- The adjustment screw can be used to pitch and tilt the surface plate. The screw can ensure smooth and highly sensitive movement with a resolution of 0.01 inches (0.254mm). Two of these adjusters come with manual knobs, while the other must be adjusted using a 5/64 inch (2mm) hex wrench or balldriver.

- An optical element installed at a horizontal angle of 45° provides adjustable pitch and tilt. The port is different from the KCD1L-M through-hole design. The KCD2L-M adopts the American-made 4-40 threaded hole design. Directly install the screws and screw it on, the stability will be more stable than the through-hole design. Their spacing matches our 30mm cage system standard. This design allows multiple 30mm cage components to be directly connected without the need for cage rod adapters.

- The KCD1L-M1 right-angle adjuster design is easy to fit into our 30mm cage system. The entrance and exit ports of the mount have an SM1 screw hole that can be integrated with a Ø1" lens tube.

- M4 screw hole on the bottom and M6 screw hole on the top are used for Ø12mm and Ø25mm posts.

- This is the unique thread for Thorlabs in the United States, not the commonly used optical thread.
