Description:
KSA5-mini is a DC servo
 headphone amplifier debugged with instrumentation design ideas. Based 
on the excellent design of the original KSA5, we replaced the bulky 
in-line components with chip components and re-optimized the circuit. 
Not only have we reduced the size of the headphone amplifier to 1/10 the
 size of the original, but we have also significantly reduced the cost.
The dimensions of the amplifier are 120mm x 160mm x 40mm/4.7" x 6.3" x 1.6".
Introduction to KSA5 Circuit:
Designed
 by analog circuit guru Kelvin Gilmore, the Krell KSA5 headphone 
amplification circuit uses a class A DC servo architecture. There is no 
coupling capacitor used from audio input to audio output, and a very 
wide frequency response of high and low frequencies can be achieved. At 
the same time, it directly eliminates the effects of coupling condenser 
coloration on traditional headphone amplifiers, allowing listeners to 
feel the most authentic sound.
The output stage features two 
transistors connected in parallel, and the push stage with four 
transistors connected in parallel, ensuring a continuous flow of power. 
The input stage uses JFET transistors, which have extremely high input 
impedance and sensitivity, and can accurately amplify every trace of 
sound.
The classic master circuit and modern design optimization makes Hi-end headphone amplifier within reach.

Effective frequency response is 55Hz-400KHz, and the response is smooth in the audible frequency range of the human ear.
The
 maximum output amplitude is 14Vpp. With a large dynamic output and a 
large swing, it can handle high-impedance headphones with ease.
Output
 current amplitude is 1260mA at 20Hz and 8 ohm load. It can also be used
 with headphones with low impedance and relatively low sensitivity. In 
measurements, no floor noise is present when the volume is set to its 
highest level.

 The whole amplifier comes with an integrated heat dissipation design of
 PCB and shell. Heat is conducted along the bottom of the PCB to the
