M5Stack Paper S3 E-Paper Display Touchable Low Power Consumption 4.7-inch E-ink Display Development Kit ESP32S3

Description:

- PaperS3 is a touch-enabled, low-power e-ink display main control device launched by M5Stack, powered by the ESP32-S3 controller. The front features a 540×960 @ 4.7" (integrated touch and screen) e-ink display that supports 16-level grayscale. Equipped with a GT911 capacitive touch panel, it supports two-point touch and various gesture operations. Compared to previous products, PaperS3 adopts a full-screen structure. Unlike ordinary LCD screens, the e-ink display provides a better text reading experience while offering low power consumption and image retention when powered off. The device is also designed with a convenient ear hook, making it easy to carry and hang, enhancing practicality and portability.

- It integrates a gyroscope sensor, onboard buzzer, and physical buttons, enabling interactive operations such as power on/off. In terms of data storage, PaperS3 is equipped with a MicroSD interface, and the ESP32-S3R8 chip comes with 8MB of PSRAM. Additionally, the device includes an external 16MB flash chip for storage expansion, ensuring higher capacity and faster data access. It features a built-in 1800mAh lithium battery with charging capabilities. Combined with the internal RTC (BM8563), it supports sleep and wake functions, offering robust battery life. The device also includes an onboard battery monitoring circuit for real-time battery status monitoring, ensuring effective battery health management.

- The back panel provides a HY1.25-4P peripheral interface, allowing for the expansion of various sensor devices, offering unlimited possibilities for subsequent application development. The device also supports OTG functionality, enabling better connectivity and data exchange with external devices. Compared to previous products, PaperS3 features enhanced antenna optimization, providing better wireless performance and signal stability.

- PaperS3 is suitable for applications such as IoT monitoring, smart home, environmental monitoring, health monitoring, electronic labeling, data recording, and various low-power display and interaction scenarios.
