Power Supply:

The motherboard of the MF02S uses a 5V boost. Its power supply uses two LT3529 low-noise power supply chips and three ultra-low noise LDO power supplies TPS735 for TI; its audio board uses two-way TPS735 to offer digital and analog power supply (PSRR: 68dB at 1kHz) to ES9038Q2M, and two LT3042 to provide audio power supply ( PSRR: 79dB at 1MHz). The op amp power supply adopts ±7V power supply, which is boosted by LT3471 to ±8V, and then regulated to ±7V by two ultra-low noise LDO power supply chips, which realizes low noise of power supply while maintaining fast response. (Note: The larger the PSRR, the better the ability to suppress power supply noise). Further more, MF02S provides a broad presence and a good user experience.

Audio Circuit:

At the level of amplifier circuit and headphone amp circuit, the MF02S high-end version uses two OPA1612, two HDAM2627, and two OPA1622, of which OPA1612 is responsible for IV conversion, which can effectively remove the bias voltage after the DAC output and reduce the popping sound after booting. The second stage circuit is the amplifier circuit, which is completed by HDAM2627. HDAM2627 can make the sound warm and pleasant, and filter out the glitch of digital decoding. The third stage is the headphone amplifier circuit, completed by OPA1622, which has +145mA/-130-mA current drive capability. In ±5V power supply, when driving 32Ω impedance to output 10mW, THD+N can reach -116dB, which is much better than the THD+N 101dB of TPA6120A2 used in MF01 under the same conditions. Because of this, although the driving force of MF02S is not as good as that of MF01 under single-ended output conditions, the control force and responsiveness of MF02S have been greatly improved, which is quite friendly to in-ear headphones. Of course, for headphones that require high driving force, the balanced output of the MF02S still has excellent driving force, so there is no need to worry about the driving force.

DAC:
The DAC chip used in this MF02S is a single ES9038Q2M decoder chip. With the joint efforts of the power supply circuit and audio circuit, the decoder chip's performance is released.

Volume Knob:
The volume encoder of MF02S adopts 32-point encoder for Panasonic, which has a long life. The volume knob adopts a delicate knurling process.
