Description:
LMX2572 is a low-power, high-performance wide-band synthesizer that can generate any frequency from 12.5MHz to 6.4GHz without using an internal doubler. Its PLL delivers excellent performance while consuming just 75mA from a single power supply 3.3V.

For applications like digital mobile radio (DMR) and wireless microphones, the LMX2572 supports FSK modulation. It supports discrete level FSK and pulse shaping FSK. Discrete digital FSK modulation is achievable through programming or pins.

LMX2572 allows users to synchronize the output of multiple devices and also enables applications that need deterministic delay between input and output. It provides an option to precisely adjust the phase to resolve delay mismatches on the board or within devices. A frequency ramp generator can synthesize up to 2 segments of ramp in an automatic ramp generation option or a manual option for maximum flexibility. Fast calibration algorithm allows changing frequencies within 20µs. LMX2572 also supports generating or repeating SYSREF (compliant to JESD204B standard), making it an ideal low power, low noise clock source for high speed data converter timing. Fine delay adjustments are provided in this configuration to account for board delay differences. LMX2572 integrates with LDO powered by single 3.3V power supply. No extra on-board low-noise LDO is needed.

Serial Communication:
The overall structure of the protocol adopts the command line mode, and the communication baud rate is 9600 bps. The machine parses and executes, and then returns the result. The command is limited to lowercase letters a~z, numbers 0~9. The end symbol of each command is the "#" character (hexadecimal notation "0x23"). The total length of the command is up to 15 characters (including "#").

W Command (write data to the main control board)
1.wf command: set the frequency value 1 (starting frequency or point frequency)
The format is: wfxxxxxxx#, a total of 9 bytes. "xxxxxxx" is the frequency value represented by 7 digits, for example, wf0000000# indicates that the set frequency is 10000000kHz (1GHz)

2. wp command: set the amplitude value
The format is: wpx#, a total of 4 bytes. "xx" is 2 digits representing the amplitude control word, no dimension: wp00#, of which the output amplitude is the smallest, about -60DBM. The output amplitude of Wp63# is the largest, about 6DBM.

Host sends data to PC (response value):
Return "OK$" after receiving the correct data
