User manual

Working principle:

- The fingerprint processing consists of two processes: the fingerprint login process and the fingerprint matching process [where the fingerprint match is divided into fingerprint comparison (1:1) and fingerprint search (1: N).
- When the fingerprint is logged in,each fingerprint is recorded in 2 times,and the image processed twice is processed.The composite template is stored in the module.Fingerprint matching,fingerprint sensors,to verify that the fingerprint image and processing of the input,and then compared with the module of the fingerprint template matching (if specified in the module of a template matching,called fingerprints, namely 1:1 way;If you match more than one template,called fingerprint search,i.e.1:N mode,the module gives you a match result (either pass or fail).

Hardware interface:
3.1 Upper computer interface (panel: J1)

The module is connected with the upper machine through the 6PIN1.25mm spacing line. The pin definition is as follows:


The module requires two sets of power supply,one for module serial port power,one for inductive power chip power supply,common land.

(1)6 for induction chip power supply; (3)6 for module serial port power supply.When finger under the window of the fingerprint,pin 2 to create a high level,MCU receives the customer the electricity at ordinary times,through the serial port module power supply control circuit (transistor or MOS tube) to module 3,4 feet to electricity.

3.11 Serial communication:
When the module is in serial communication with the user's device,the interface J1 pin is defined as follows:

 

3.111 Hardware connection:

- Module through serial communication interface,can be used directly with 3.3 V or 5 V MCU communications: module data sending feet (4 feet TX) connected to a machine data receiver (RXD),module data reception feet (5 feet RX) connected to a machine data sender (TXD).
- To communicate with the upper computer of the rs-232 level (e.g. PC),please increase the level conversion circuit between the module and the upper machine (for example: MAX232 circuit).

3.112 Serial protocol:Semi-duplex asynchronous serial communication is adopted.The default baud rate is 57600bps,which can be set to 9600~115200bps.The transmitted frame format is 10 bits,a 0 level starting bit,8 data (low in front) and a stop bit,no check bits.

3.113 Electric delay time:After the module is electrically charged,it takes about 200mS to initialize the work. During this time,the module cannot respond to the upper machine command.
