0.1PPM HackRF One External Clock High-Precision TCXO Clock Module for GPS Simulation Data Analysis
Description:
It is designed to meet the needs of Hackrf One for high-precision clocks. This allows Hackrf One to be used in applications with higher clocking requirements, such as GPS simulation, GSM/WCDMA/LTE data analysis, etc.
Since the clock used by HACKRF is a passive ordinary clock, the default accuracy of the board is usually below 20PPM.
The shift of 1MHz frequency is around 20HZ, and 1GHZ frequency corresponds to 20KHZ change. In general, frequency changes with the environment. Usually it does not have any effect on less demanding occasions. For example, it does not have any effect on wireless reception, because HACKRF already has a bandwidth of 20MHZ. But on wireless transmission, it is different. For example, in a GPS system, the frequency is 1575.42MHZ. If the accuracy is 20PPM, the frequency offset is 1575.42MHZ+(1575.42*20=0.0315084MHZ)=1575.42±3, so the TCXO clock cannot be applied to GPS. But when the accuracy is 2PPM and the frequency is 0.003MHZ, it obviously meets the requirements of GPS use.
This external clock adopts a high-precision TCXO with a DIP package accuracy of 0.1-0.5ppm.
It has been tested by professional instruments before shipment, so that you can use it with confidence.
Application Scenarios:
1. For GPS
2. Other occasions where high-precision clocks are required
