RF Low Noise Amplifier LNA Wideband Amplifier 2K-3000MHz Gain 30+dB For Shortwave FM Broadcast

Application:

The amplifier features wide frequency range, high gain, and small noise figure. It can be used in various RF receiving front-ends to increase communication distance. Widely used in shortwave, FM broadcasting, remote control receiver, cable TV signal amplifier and other places where low noise and small signal RF amplification is needed.

Technical Parameters:

- Working Frequency: 2K-3000MHz
- Maximum Output Power: + 10dBm (10mW) @ 1dB compression point
- Noise Figure: 1.9dB (refer to the main view picture)
- Power Supply Voltage: 9-15VDC
- System Impedance: 50 ohms

Amplifier Gain (as shown in the figure below):
- F = 0.1MHz, gain = 32dB;
- F = 500Mhz, gain = 31dB;
- F = 1000MHz, gain = 29dB;
- F = 1500Mhz, gain = 25dB;
- F = 2000MHz, gain = 20dB

Tips:

1. This amplifier has very good gain flatness when the operating frequency is less than 500MHz. After careful adjustment, the value can be less than 1dB. The lower the frequency, the higher the gain consistency.
2. The lower limit of the operating frequency of the amplifier is limited by input and output capacitors. The default is 0.1uF, which can work to 0.1MHz. You can increase the input and output capacitance appropriately to extend the lower frequency limit. For example, at 10uF, it can work to 5KHz. For detailed calculations, please note that the input and output impedance is 50 ohms, and calculate the required capacitance. At the same time, power supply decoupling and regulation should be enhanced.
3. When supply voltage varies between 5-8V, it can be used as a variable gain amplifier. The gain increases as the supply voltage increases. It is very suitable for the front-end circuit of radio frequency receiving, using DA to control the supply voltage, so as to control the gain of the amplifier and play automatic gain control.
4. When the power supply voltage is 8-10V, the gain at the low frequency end reaches 30dB. At this time, the amplifier has a lower noise figure and better stability.
5. When the voltage is 12V, the gain reaches the maximum value, and the gain at the low frequency end can reach 32.5dB.
