SDA-2C Audio DAC Amp Headphone Preamplifier NOS Native Decoding 384KHz/DSD512 AK4497 High-End Version

Description:

SDA-2C DAC Headphone Preamlifier is the high-end version. The clock of its USB part is built with Crystek femtosecond crystal oscillator CCHD-575.

Features:

- It is a high-performance HiFi audio decoder headphone preamplifier.
- XMOS's latest xCORE-200 series chip is adopted as the USB Audio solution. AK4497 is used as the DA conversion chip. AK4118 is used as digital audio input receiving chip, and STM32 is used as the control of the whole machine. The large-scale FPGA of Xilinx is used to process clock system and digital audio streams.
- Its headphone amp part adopts 4-way full balance design, and independent class A headphone amplifier drive circuit. Using a pre-analog design, its preamp output will not not affect the digital attenuation of the sound dynamics.
- Rich input & output interfaces, including standard USB2.0 input port, SPDIF coaxial and AES balanced input, analog XLR balanced output, and analog RCA output.
- PCM supports up to 384Khz. Adopting native direct solution technology, DSD supports up to DSD512. All interfaces support DSD decoding.
- DAC AK4497EQ is adopted as its DAC chip. The DSD adopts the native direct solution mode. The DSD digital stream does not pass through the internal digital filter and modulator, and works in the NOS mode. The PCM can also choose to work in the NOS mode, which is in line with the HQPlayer design concept.

Four Main Technologies:
1.USB part uses first generation isolation technology: SCIT technology (Singxer capacitor isolation technique). SCIT technology is a full isolation technology (ground isolation). 150Mbps isolation chip is used for high-speed signal and optocoupler isolation is used for low-speed signal, which can completely isolate interference from PC. The high-end version of the USB portion can basically reach the level of the SU-1 independent digital interface.

2.Source synchronization technology and FPGA shaping technology: Reshape isolated I2S signal, thereby eliminating the additive jitter caused by the isolation chip.

3. Self-developed clock system uses a femtosecond crystal oscillator as the local reference clock.

4. 4-channel class A discrete amp circuit: full balanced amplification of 8 patch transistors per route.

System Compatibility:

- For Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10; 32/64 bit. A a dedicated driver is needed.
- For native MacOS 10.6 and above, using your system’s own driver.
- For native Linux with UAC2 compliant kernel, using the system's own driver, (tested on Ubuntu and Daphile systems, based on INTEL X86 platform)
- For Android OS 4.2 and above, which needs to support OTG function. Generally speaking, it fits for Android 5.0 system. For Android system below 5.0, a dedicated player is needed.

I2S Port Using HDMI Socket to Input:
- LVDS differential signal with a level of 3.3V;

- The I2S interface is compatible with multiple I2S output signal definitions, and the FPGA has built-in PCM/DSD signal automatic identification algorithm;

- The DSD ON signal can also be defined by itself. DSD ON signal can be input to the PIN13, 14, 15, and 16 pins of the socket;

- The phase of PIN1-3 and PIN7-9 is adjustable, and the user can configure the phases of the these two pairs of outputs through one switch;
