Description:
Obtaining the frequency response and impedance curve data of speakers must be necessary for every audio enthusiast. J-BOX is developed to facilitate the use of the measurement function (JustMLS) of the LspCAD loudspeaker design software. This is a fairly convenient audio measurement tool. Its line structure is also suitable for REW (Room EQ Wizard) frequency response and impedance measurement.
It greatly simplifies the operation and preparation of software and hardware, integrates the originally required equipment and complex connection, switching and debugging in a box (including sound card, power amplifier, microphone amplifier). And you can complete the measurement function switching with one knob.
The connection between J-BOX and a computer only requires a USB port. Just plug a USB cable, and all the settings of the sound card are completed. Built-in sound card specially designed for the measuring box eliminates the need for various settings in the computer volume console, and can be plugged in directly on Win XP and Win 64-bit computers. Driver-free and setup-free, saving time and effort in measurements.
J-BOX's built-in amplifier provides 1.41, 2.83 and 4.90Vrms (15W) level output. The original sampling level automatic balancing circuit can change the output at any time during measurement without having to set the volume console on the computer again.
Built-in MIC amplifier provides a gain of +17dB to +27dB to accommodate microphones of different sensitivities.

1. Measure loudspeaker (boxes) (frequency response and impedance)
2. Measure frequency response of active speakers
The measuring microphone used WM-6X series mic for Panasonic. The microphone comes with a separate calibration file to ensure excellent response characteristics (20-20000Hz, +/-1dB).
The bottom of the microphone attachment is specially made with a 1/4 thread camera mounting hole, which can be easily mounted on a regular camera tripod.
