Description:
- 7-knob fazz, using Russian germanium triodes made in the 1960s. It can simulate 90% of the fuzz effects on the market. Due to the low power consumption of this pedal circuit, with a rated current of about 3mA, a battery can last a long time.
Knob:
VOLUME: Adjust the output level
GATE: Suppresses noise after sustain ends. Turn right to eliminate screeching, hissing, and buzzing, to stop as soon as they disappear, or to adjust precise feedback pitch, if you're that kind of person. Turn left to open the gate.
COMP (compression): Turning to the left increases the intensity of the punch, turning it to the right makes the punch softer, and turning it to the right narrows the dynamic range of the sound. It can also be used in combination with the gate knob, turning the gate high and then turning the compressor low enough to get a squished sound, like a broken pedal or amp. .
DRIVE (distortion): increase the degree of distortion, and can also be used to adjust the pitch of the feedback and the thickness of the sound. Distortion knob has no effect when compression is on.
STAB (Voltage Adjustment): Voltage adjustment, which can be used to adjust the pitch of the feedback, and can bring out some very weird oscillating sounds.
TONE: This knob is activated by the left footswitch. It's a passive tone control that rounds out the high end of the Fuzz Factory 7. This passive tone control operates much like the tone control on a guitar, and when the stomp switch is activated, it lets you round out the high end of the fuzzy sound. Scroll so you can soften the tone as needed.
FAT (timbre): The Fuzz Factory 7 features a 9-position rotary sub-switch that controls the Fuzz's internal timbre, getting fatter on the left and leaner on the right. This switch apparently also changes the pedal's oscillation range when the other knobs are set to oscillate or squeal. In the middle, you'll find the original Fuzz Factory setup.
