Description:
- AS8 Pro is a network switch specifically designed for network streaming of digital audio, providing audiophiles with a complete integrated solution including pure, high-precision, and stable network audio streaming involving switching, high-precision clock functions, and more.

- The AS8 Pro clock uses an SC cutting OCXO with near end noise better than -110dBc, combined with a high-performance PLL clock chip, to provide precise and stable synchronous clock signals for the two switching areas. It can also be externally connected to a higher-order 10MHz clock to further improve sound quality, and also has a high-precision 10MHz clock output signal for use with other audiophile devices.

- First power on, the internal OCXO is heating up and the frequency has not reached the most accurate stable state; Heat the internal OCXO for about 15-20 minutes and enter a stable working state; Enable external input of 10MHz clock signal.

- It is equipped with dedicated grounding terminals and grounding control switches, aiming to provide more flexible and pure grounding management for the system, minimize AC ground loop interference and ground noise, and improve overall sound quality performance.

- The ground wire terminal is used to separately ground the machine and effectively isolate it from the AC power supply ground wire (mains ground). When connecting to an independent ground network or high-quality audio ground, it can avoid high-frequency interference, potential fluctuations, and ground loop noise introduced by traditional AC ground lines, significantly improving the background silence and audio system's ability to reproduce details.

- Equipped with two built-in optical isolation switches, the 2.5G main switch area and 1G audio mute isolation area are connected for communication through the built-in single-mode dual fiber, achieving optical isolation and providing the purest network environment for digital broadcasting.

- To isolate power interference and avoid mutual interference between different systems, this machine uses two Multicomp HiFi "for NORATEL" ring transformers to provide independent power supply channels for the clock system and switch. Ensure that the 10MHz master clock and all levels of clock distribution modules operate in a low-noise background, further reducing phase noise and improving clock accuracy. Provide strong and stable power supply guarantee for 2.5G/1G main control, SFP optical port, isolation area and other modules.

- The overall design adopts fully linear voltage stabilizing devices, rejecting switch noise interference, and the layout of partitioned power supply is rigorous, with equal emphasis on accuracy and purity. It is currently one of the few switches on the market that uses fully linear uV level power supply and pursues I sound, image and data performance, representing the ceiling of power supply solutions for audio HiFi and network customers.

- Equipped with two 50VA ring transformer for NORATEL and multi-channel uV level fully linear DC stabilized power supplies. AS8Pro is a truly linear power supply without any DC-DC circuit on the board.
- The chassis is made of a whole piece of aviation aluminum material, which is excavated through CNC precision machining. Compared with conventional assembled aluminum alloy chassis, it greatly reduces the overall resonance of the machine and improves the rigidity of the chassis. Different functional circuits can be isolated from each other to avoid interference.
- The independent grounding terminal and grounding switch designed specifically for audiophiles with extreme requirements can enable star shaped grounding between multiple devices in the entire audio system, thereby avoiding interference noise caused by ground loops.

Precaution:
- Before each listening session, please power on and preheat for at least 30 minutes to allow the internal OCXO to enter a stable working state.
- Please do not use Ethernet or fiber optic cables to directly connect the 2.5G data area and 1G isolation area, as this will cause network loops.
- If the RJ45 network port is not sufficient, do not use RJ45 electrical modules on the SFP interface of AS8 Pro. This does not achieve optoelectronic isolation and its effect is much lower than the RJ45 network port that comes with AS8 Pro.
- If the user wants to upgrade or replace the internal fiber optic module, please use a single-mode module with a speed of 1G/1.25G. Using other modules may not work.
