Description:
- The SynScan WiFi module can use the SynScan mobile application, which wirelessly controls all Sky Watchers with GoTo Equatorial mount from smartphones or PC tablets. These applications can be downloaded for free for Google Play or for App Store. Wireless control can also be achieved from a PC through ASCOM.
- The WiFi adapter module can be easily connected to the manual port of the installation via RJ12 to RJ45 or RJ45 to RJ45 cables.
- No battery is required, as the working current is provided by the equatorial instrument. (Please note that the EQ6PRO should be connected to the WiFi adapter module using the manual cable originally provided with the bracket.)
- After connection, the WiFi module creates its own WiFi network, allowing it to be used within the signal range without relying on other WiFi or mobile networks. After entering your coordinates in the relevant Synscan application and following a simple alignment program, you can explore the universe using the application's intuitive touch screen menu.
- The SynScan application also supports the Sky safari Plus/Pro mobile planet arium application for Android and for IOS. (Please note that the connection for IOS may currently be restricted, and it requires two devices.)
- Both the SynScan application and SynScan Pro application now support ASCOM for backtracking, forwarding, and pulse guidance.
