Programmer and Computer Connection:
1. The TOP3000 programmer is connected to the computer via a standard USB interface. The user connects the programmer with the randomly equipped cable, and the programmer generally works without external power supply. Connect the square end of the cable to the programmer end and the flat end to the computer end. The standard cable of this machine has been rigorously tested, and the resistance of its power cord is limited to 0.1 ohm to ensure a low voltage drop. Users should not replace other cables (such as printer cables) at will.
2. If the internal resistance of the computer's power supply is greater than 0.3 ohms, an external 5V power supply is required to ensure proper operation.

Programmer Power Supply Instructions:
Most users, using the 5V power supply of the USB port of the computer, the TOP programmer can work normally. However, there are a few computers that may have insufficient power supply.
According to international standards, the load current of USB2.0 is 500MA. If this standard is reached, the TOP programmer can work normally. Whether it is a desktop computer or a laptop, its USB interface may not reach the standard current. The reasons are as follows:
-Generally, the USB interface of the computer motherboard is connected with a 0.1 ohm protection resistor in series, and some computers are connected with a relatively large resistance, (greater than 02 ohm), resulting in a reduction in current;
-The internal resistance of the computer power supply is greater than 0.5 ohm, resulting in too large a voltage drop and reduced load capacity;
-The connected wire is too small and the resistance is large, resulting in a decrease in current.

Solution:
1. Double the wire
Two USB interface power supplies can be connected in parallel to increase the current by 2 times.
2.Keyboard plus wire
Connect 5V power supply to the PS2 interface of the keyboard. Since the keyboard has no series resistance, the current is very strong and the effect is good.
3. External 5V/1A regulated power supply
TOP3000 programmer is equipped with an external power supply. DC load voltage DC 5V, no load 5.15V. The center of the plug with a diameter of 2.5mm is the positive electrode, and the outer sleeve is the negative electrode.
TOP3000 needs 500mA current to work properly. Most laptop or desktop computers can meet the requirements of USB power supply. If the power load of the USB is relatively poor, you can connect the external power supply in the following order:
(1) Disconnect the USB cable and turn off the power of the programmer;
(2) Plug in the DC plug of the power supply, and then plug in the AC socket;
(3) Connect the USB cable to the computer and turn on the power switch of the programmer.
