ToupTek GPM662C Color Guide Camera USB2.0 IR Imaging Astronomical Camera with 825nm IR Filter and 2.8mmf2cs Lens

Description:

- GPM662C, as an upgraded version of GPM462C, is a cost-effective guide camera suitable for multiple applications such as deep space star guide and infrared imaging. 1/2.8 inch frame, 2.9μm square pixels, and 1920x1080 resolution, with improved performance in sensitivity, dynamic range, full well charge, and readout noise. Especially in the infrared band, it is sensitive and efficient, with high QE at 650nm, making it particularly suitable for shooting the Milky Way in cities with high light pollution.

- Can replace filters and expand infrared imaging: The GPM662M front window is made of AR anti-reflective protective glass, and the GPM662C front window is made of IR-CUT protective glass. The original front window glass size is 19mm in diameter and 0.55mm in thickness, and is fixed in the joint ring with a pressing ring. Expanding infrared band photography, it is easy to remove the front window of the camera and replace the filter by yourself. The third-party filter specifications can be selected with a diameter of 19-22mm and a thickness of about 1mm. Convenient replacement and easy adaptation to infrared band shooting needs.

- Native 12 bit ADC, supporting ROI: 12bit ADC to ensure high image level and detail representation. Support hardware ROI (Region of Interest), flexible selection of focus areas, the smaller the ROI, the higher the frame rate. High frame rate ensures timely star guidance feedback and smooth transmission of real-time imaging preview.

- Built-in frame cache: The GPM662C camera has a built-in frame cache that temporarily saves data to ensure stable and complete transmission to receiving devices such as computers, effectively reducing the glow phenomenon caused by slow image data readout. Ensure that each camera can still achieve maximum frame rate even when multiple cameras are working simultaneously.

- Pixel merging & dual gain switching: supports 1 x 1 to 8 x 8 digital pixel merging (stacking or averaging). Support switching between HCG (high conversion gain) and LCG (low conversion gain). Choose HCG to enhance signal sensitivity in low light environments, switch LCG to maintain a wide dynamic range when capturing high brightness targets, and balance overall brightness and darkness details.

- Compatible program: GPM series cameras can be controlled through native ToupSky software connection, and support for ASCOM and DirectShow SDK usage.
