e-Design self-developed firmware upgrade software: The soldering iron
can be connected to a computer to upgrade its firmware, customize the
configuration file and the welcome icon for booting.
- By upgrading
its firmware, TS101 can support USB PD3.1. It can work at 28V when it is
powered by USB-C port. PD working power is increased from 45W to 90W.
To use USB-C PD 3.1 28V input on TS101, you need to: Upgrade your TS101
firmware to APP 2.0 or above, and set menu "PDPwMax" as OFF; Use a power
adapter that supports PD 3.1 28V 5A output; Use a USB-C power cable
that supports 50V 5A 240W EPR.
