Q: Some speakers have BTL output or use Class D functions. There is no ground terminal at both ends of speakers. Can they be used with this spectrum display?
A: Yes, there are two situations for this connection. The first is to use a power source that shares the same ground with an amplifier, such as the one on a car. At this time, connect any speaker wire to Lin or Rin, and GND does not need to be connected again. In the second, a separate power supply is used. At this time, the power supply is isolated from the power supply of speaker amplifier. Connect any wire of the speaker to the gnd of the amplifier to Lin and GND of this screen. If only one speaker is connected, two speaker wires can be directly connected to Lin and GND of the screen.

There are three colors on the display. If you want to display White, please use a red-brown shading plate.


Wiring Note:
- It is strongly recommended that power supply is 12V DC.
- Audio input is audio in and GND terminals, which are compatible with audio output of general equipment. The output is also such a pair of wires audio out and GND, it is strongly recommended to connect one of the wires for speaker power output. The audio input GND of this PCB is connected to the GND of 5V power supply. If it is installed in a device, make sure that the power supply GND and the output audio GND are also the same or completely isolated.

Some users say that there is a bright light at the bottom of the screen when there is no music, and suspect this is a quality problem. In fact, this is not a quality problem, but caused by the user's poor music signal itself. It is usually due to the use of poor power supplies. Including the 12 power supply input of this machine, or digital audio equipment like bluetooth speaker, usb speaker, the frequency of this kind of equipment contains a lot of fundamental noise, and some low-end products can be heard directly from speaker. Judging whether it is external noise is actually very simple, just short-circuit the input terminal to ground, and there should be no display on the screen at this time.
