Using Steps:
- First, turn the WATT knob on the front panel to the maximum position of 200W
- According to your actual situation, connect the power amplifier and speaker to the corresponding input terminals A or B or I/O of the VU102, so that the VU102 operates in a 1 in 2 out or 2 in 1 out mode.
- Connecting the USB power cord will automatically turn on the machine. (Press and hold the Selector key for 3 seconds to turn off the machine, or you can turn it off through the remote control.)
- Select the A and B working modes through the selection keys or remote control on the front panel. If the connection method is one amplifier corresponding to two pairs of speakers, you can also set the A and B terminals to work simultaneously through remote control. (Note: The A and B simultaneous working modes do not support the mode of connecting two amplifiers at the same time, that is, the 2-in and 1-out mode, which may damage your amplifier.)
- Finally, use the WATT knob to adjust the VU meter needle in appropriate swing range.
- When the power is turned off, the VU102 will disconnect ports A and B from the IO ports. And turn off the backlight of the VU meter, and all speakers will mute. When operating in the 1-in 2-out mode, if the power amplifier still has audio signal output, the pointer of the VU meter will continue to swing. This is normal. Because the VU meter is a passive drive board. The swing is driven directly from the audio signal on the IO port.
