Waterproof Socket Power Outlet Volt Meter Panel Mount Marine 12 /24 V Voltmeter
Socket:
- The socket is marine grade and is weather and UV resistant. The cap seals the front of the socket, should water get in, the socket is self-bailing. The body is nylon plastic for strength and light weight. The contacts are nickel plated over brass. The socket is vibration resistant, unlike less expensive versions Rated for 15 amps at 12 volts DC. Weight 1oz. This socket draws no power when not in use so it can't run your battery down.
- Works with any standard cigarette lighter plug or lockable marine plug. Check my other auction if you need a locking plug. A locking plug looks like a regular male lighter plug but when twisted in this socket can’t be pulled out easily, unless twisted again. Not for hot lighter use.
Voltmeter:
- The meter has easy to read red LED segments and connect to your 12 /24 volt system. Comes with female terminals. The meter body is made out of heavy nylon. The meter draws nominally 10 ma. and the range is 0-35 VDC.
- The socket and voltmeter fits in a 1-1/8” holes in panels of unlimited thickness by placing the rectangular double compression plate over the front of the two and securing it with four screws (not included). The two holes are side by side on 1-3/4” centers. The plate dimensions are 4.0” x 1.75” The mounting screw hole pattern is on I” centers for the two holes on the short side, and on 3-3/8” centers for the two holes on the long side.
