Description:
The unit of internal resistance is generally milliohm (mΩ). A battery with a large internal resistance will cause high internal power consumption and serious heat during charging and discharging, which will cause accelerated aging and life decay of lithium-ion batteries, and will also limit the large rate Of charge and discharge applications. Generally speaking, the smaller the internal resistance is, the better the life and rate performance of the lithium-ion battery will be. Battery quality and matching battery can be evaluated by measuring its internal resistance.

This product adopts 4-wire AC constant current measurement scheme, with high measurement accuracy and wide range. It can measure the internal resistance and voltage of batteries such as lead acid, lithium ion, lithium polymer, lithium iron phosphate, alkaline, dry cell, nickel-metal hydride, nickel-cadmium, button cell and battery pack. It meets the testing requirements of most common batteries. The internal resistance measurement resolution can reach 0.001 milliohms, and the measurement range can reach 200 ohms. The voltage measurement resolution can reach 0.0001V and the range can reach ±120V.

The product has a filter function. The range of filter parameters (such as internal resistance, voltage) can be set in the menu. After the battery to be tested is placed in test clamps (optional), the product will automatically compare the measured parameters with the set parameters. When the battery passes the parameter test, the instrument beeps once. And when the battery fails the test, it beeps twice. Users do not need to observe the display frequently thanks to its high efficiency and precision.

FAQ:
Q: When using USB to charge, it is found that charging current is small and charging speed is slow.
A: The designed charging current of the product is about 600mA, but if the quality of the USB cable is poor (larger internal resistance), the voltage will have greater line loss, and the charging current will decrease. You can replace a better USB cable. The charging speed will be faster. (Generally speaking, the wires have wire loss, and the charging current is more than 200mA.).

Q: Can the product be used to measure AC voltage?
A: No. It is strictly forbidden to input AC signals and DC voltages higher than 150V.

Q: Can we calibrate the product? Can it be restored to factory settings?
A: Users can calibrate or restore factory settings. The product has been calibrated before delivery, and the parameters are stored inside the machine. Users can also re-calibrate according to their own needs (generally, there is no need to re-calibrate). If the calibration is wrong or the parameters are found to be inferior to the previously preset parameters after calibration, the settings can be restored.
