Description:
- The ZA-048 antenna is a printed LDPA. We have used some optimized design techniques to significantly reduce the size of the antenna, and now it can be easily used with tinySA ULTRA. Using new technology, we are now able to match an ultra wide range of 400MHz-8GHz with a resolution of 27x23cm, but with some loss of low-frequency directionality.
- The rated input resistance of the antenna is 50Ω. When the antenna is connected to a 50Ω source, the return loss will fluctuate. In most frequency bands above 1GHz, the return loss is about 10dB or lower, and the VSWR is about 2. In the 400M-1GHz frequency band, the return loss is about 4.5dB or lower, and the VSWR is about 4. VSWR rapidly increases at frequencies below 400MHz.
- ZA-048 can be used for wireless direction finding in the frequency range of 1GHz-8.5GHz without strict requirements. When held with one hand, it has considerable sensitivity to the direction of the signal source and changes direction with the body. We designed it for low-frequency matching and directionality as much as possible, but due to antenna area limitations, we had to lose some low-frequency directionality.
