Precautions:
Although the multimeter incorporates advanced self-fusing over-voltage/over-current protection circuits and meter movement overload protection, strict adherence to the following operating procedures is essential to prevent accidents:
* When measuring high voltage or large current, switch the range only after the power is turned off to avoid damaging the switch.
* When measuring unknown voltage or current, always start by selecting the highest range. After the first reading, gradually switch to a lower appropriate range to get a more accurate reading and avoid damaging the circuit.
* If the fuse occasionally burns out due to overload, you can open the side cover of the multimeter to replace the fuse. Two spare fuses of the same model, rated 0.5A/250V, are included.
* When measuring high voltage, stand on a dry insulating board and operate with one hand to prevent accidents.
* The resistance measurement range is powered by a dry battery. Regularly check and replace the battery to ensure measurement accuracy. When not in use, turn the meter off or set it to the highest voltage/current range. Remove the battery if unused for an extended period.
* The multimeter should be stored and operated in environments where the ambient temperature ranges from 0 to 40°C, the relative humidity does not exceed 80%, and the air is free of corrosive gases.
