Description:
AD9106 for TxDAC and waveform generator are high-performance four-channel DAC, integrated on-chip mode memory, used for complex waveform generation, with direct digital frequency synthesizer (DDS). The DDS is a host clock sine wave generator with a 12-bit output, up to 180MHz, with a 24-bit tuning word, and supports a frequency resolution of 10.8Hz/LSB. The DDS has a single frequency output for all four DACs, and an independent programmable phase shift output for each DAC.

SRAM data can include directly generated stored waveforms, amplitude modulation modes applied to DDS output or DDS frequency tuning words.

The built-in mode control state machine allows the user to program the mode period of all four DACs and the start delay within the period of each DAC channel signal output. The SPI interface is used to configure the digital waveform generator and load the pattern into SRAM. In the process of transmitting the digital signal to the four DACs, the signal is adjusted for gain and offset.

AD9106 provides excellent AC and DC performance, and supports DAC sampling rates up to 180MSPS. The AD9106 has a flexible operating power supply range (1.8V to 3.3V) and low power consumption, making it ideal for portable and low-power applications.

Module Characteristics:
AD9106 is a high-performance, low-power four-channel ADC, which integrates 4096x12-bit dual-port RAM. It can be used not only to generate sine waves and triangle waves, but also to form arbitrary complex waveforms. By changing the value of the register, the accuracy and time of D/A conversion can be controlled, so that the interference of external signals can be avoided as much as possible. It can be connected to the AD9106 through the SPI port of the MCU to reduce the occupation of I/O resources. AD9106 also has the advantages of high integration, low power consumption and small size.
