Description:
The overall quality of PCM1798 decoding is high. Its outputs and inputs are designed up to +20dBu. Its SNR is slightly lower than that of ES9028. It can also be replaced by a higher-end PCM1794. It is hardware-controlled. The inputs and outputs are modular and can require pure digital ((AES or coaxial) input and output, or digital: (AES or coaxial) plus analog with any combination of input and output. The digital input (AES or coaxial) uses only one 6.35mm connector, which corresponds to the connector below the card slot, and the upper connector is useless. Analog input and output interface is a balanced differential interface. Connected to a single-ended device, the negative end of the input can be short-circuited with the ground wire; the negative end of the output can not be connected and not recommended to short-circuit it with the ground. So if you want to use an adapter (6.3mm to RCA), it is recommended to choose a large three-core (stereo) to RCA adapter.
Power supply for home version: 90V-220V.
The whole machine comes with a USB interface by default (SA9227_ the maximum sampling rate is 384K/supports ASIO)
