Description:
BCNet-NAT network coupler is the basic version, while the ETH-NAT is the standard version. Both of them are suitable for Ethernet communication and data acquisition of network port PLC (TCP/UDP protocol), and for IP address translation, with the functions of cross-network segment and transparent transmission.

Similarities: BCNet-NAT and ETH-NAT can realize the address translation function of NAT, that is, the PLC connected to LAN1 can be mapped to any IP address of LAN2 port. This solves the problem that the field device cannot modify the IP address.

Differences: BCNet-NAT parameters and settings are more simplified. It supports one port forwarding number, and LAN2 port supports up to 10 host computers to be connected. ETH-NAT supports 4 port forwarding numbers, and its LAN2 port supports up to 32 host computers to be connected.

Features (BCNet-NAT):
1. Mounted on a 35mm rail. LAN1 is a dual-port RJ45 with switch function, and the port can be connected to a PLC. LAN2 is a single-port RJ45, which can be connected to a host computer. BCNet-NAT needs to be powered by an external 24VDC power supply.
2. The integrated WEB server allows you to set device parameters and run diagnostics via web pages, configure them through BCDevice tools, and configure them from LAN1 or LAN2 ports at will.
3. Implement NAT function: Map the IP address and port number of the PLC connected to the LAN1 port to any IP and port number of the LAN2 port.
4. Support up to 10 LAN2/LAN1 server/client concurrency models. The LAN2 port can support up to 10 host computer to be connected.
5. Supports the user side to achieve firmware update through Ethernet. Firmware that integrates more features is provided for free, and the hardware is purchased once and can be upgraded permanently.
