CSR64215 Bluetooth Receiver Module:

This module is suitable for refitting audio equipment such as power amplifier, power amplifier board DIY, preamp effector and so on.

The traditional wired transmission is converted into wireless Bluetooth transmission. The module uses CSR64215 high-fidelity Bluetooth chip. The Bluetooth 4.2 version ensures high-speed data transmission, so that audio data can be transmitted to the analog power amplifier without loss. To achieve wireless HIFI-level sound quality. The module supports for APT-X lossless reception, and the sound quality level reaches CD level. It is a truly lossless Bluetooth receiver module.

The module receives and outputs standard single-ended analog audio signals for Bluetooth. It can directly provide audio signal to preamp or analog power amplifier without additional DAC decoder. In order to facilitate the modification needs of DIY friends, the module is designed with an AUX input, which is convenient for external linear audio. The original imported high-precision relay for NEC is used to switch between AUX and Bluetooth. The AUX input is not processed by any chip, and the output is switched directly by the relay. Ensure the lossless output of AUX audio to the amplifier.


① DC power supply input interface. GND is the negative pole of the power supply, and +12V is the positive pole of the power supply. Wide voltage: 6-36V.
② AUX audio interface. LINE_INR right channel input, GND common ground, LINE_INL left channel input.
③ Audio output interface. R_OUT right channel output, GND common ground, L_OUT left channel output.
④ Audio switching relay. Imported with original packaging to ensure sound quality transmission and working life.
⑤ The on-board Bluetooth antenna is used to receive signals and keep it open and unobstructed. If the module is installed in a metal chassis, an external antenna (2.4G antenna like router) is required to ensure complete signal reception. If you use a plastic shell or a wooden shell, you don't need an external antenna. Refer to the figure below for external antenna connection.

Tips:
If after modification, the power amplifier has a slight noise or interference sound when the Bluetooth is working, you need to add a small power supply 6-36V, 500MA or more, and independently power the Bluetooth module to solve the noise problem. Because sharing power supply with equipment is prone to common ground interference noise.




Correct Way to Install Bluetooth Antenna:
The panel thickness of Bluetooth antenna holder should be between 1-3mm, as shown in Figure 1. If the installed panel is too thick, it will affect the external antenna and cannot touch the contacts of antenna base, which will cause the external antenna to fail. For installation on a panel with a thickness greater than 3mm, the thickness of the mounting position of the panel's Bluetooth antenna holder needs to be reduced, as shown in Figure 2. Reduce the thickness to the remaining 3m or less, and measure the size by yourself. Images are for reference only.
