Module Description:

The model of DDS chip selected by the module is AD9854ASQ, the highest system clock is 300MHZ, and output 2-way quadrature signals of 120MHZ and 1-channel of the same frequency square wave signal.

The module hardware can realize all the functions of AD9854 (Modulation and frequency sweep need to develop your own programs. The default delivery program is the point frequency mode. The newly designed STM32 motherboard supports all modes), a brief introduction is as follows:

1: Single frequency mode outputs 2 pairs of orthogonal signals
2: 4-channel FSK signal modulation output
3: 4-channel ASK signal modulation output
4: 4-channel BPSK signal modulation output
5: 4-channel frequency sweep signal output, programmable frequency sweep range
6: 1-channel square wave signal output

Module Circuit Introduction:
1) Dual power supply: The analog power supply and digital power supply are separately powered. Magnetic beads are used for common ground to reduce the interference of analog signals on digital circuit, and the effect is obvious in high-frequency circuits.

2) Flexible control: The module is not equipped with any processor, but connects all control lines to 2.54MM double-row pin. On one hand, users can choose appropriate processor; on the other hand, the module itself is a high-frequency signal source, processor is subject to strong electromagnetic interference.

3) Flexible triggering: The trigger signal lines of the modules FSK and OSK are triggered by processor except connected to the pins.

4) Flexible square wave output: Two input terminals of internal comparator of the module can select IOUT1 and IOUT2 by 4-bit DIP switch, which can output a square wave with a 50% duty cycle or a square wave with an adjustable duty cycle.

5) Heat dissipation problem: The heating problem of the AD9854ASQ is more prominent, which is also a common problem of high-frequency signal generators. The module has adopted effective heat dissipation measures in circuit board design, and then cooperated with a heat sink to solve the chip heat dissipation problem.

6) USB communication function: Adopt CH340 chip to realize USB communication function. The function of AD9854 can be controlled by a host computer, and can also be displayed on 12864 LCD.
