Features:
1. Easy of Use: Fenrir is simple to use - just copy game ROMs onto an SD card to run games. Since it does not require insertion into a cartridge slot, there are no contact issues.

2. Noise Reduction: For SAROO has noise issues with the first-generation dual-LED for Sega Saturn. Fenrir, however, operates without noise problems.

3. Better Compatibility: Currently, for SAROO has a 10% game compatibility issue, including desynchronized audio and visuals, missing background music, and audio stuttering. Fenrir, on the other hand, requires no additional setup and is compatible with all games.

4. Stable Performance: If your motherboard for Sega Saturn is VA0, VA1, and VA2 - VA9, for SAROO may cause game stuttering, incomplete audio, or distortion when the optical drive is missing or broken. Fenrir, however, ensures perfect compatibility.

5. Movie Card Compatibility: For Sega Saturn supports over 30 games that utilize the VCD Movie Card for high-quality FMV cutscenes (e.g., Gungriffon). There are also two games (for Lunar: Silver Star Story Movie Card Edition and Phantasy Star Collection’s Phantasy Star II) that require a movie card. For SAROO cannot work with the Saturn Movie Card, but Fenrir, when paired with a VCD Movie Card, runs these games flawlessly.

Note:

The seventh digit of the serial number is the motherboard model, 0 represents VA0 motherboard
(Note: VA0 Saturn motherboards can only use 20-pin 007 CD drives.)
Open the console
Flip the console back. Remove the five screws.

VA0 Version, remove the screw near the power plug.

Install Fenrir Pro:
For VA0 motherboards, the Fenrir Pro needs to be laid flat on the Saturn’s metal shielding. You can use the included EVA foam from the package as insulation and support. Please note that double-sided tape is not included and must be provided by yourself.

Plug the flex cable with the reinforced tape (blue) in the correct direction. On 20 pin models (VA0)

Next is the VA1 (20-pin) motherboard, which also requires the EVA foam for insulation and support.

The AV2 to AV5 motherboards use the 604 model 21-pin optical drive connector. With these versions, the EVA foam is no longer needed. Installation is now simpler - the Fenrir Pro can be directly inserted into the Saturn motherboard’s 21-pin connector with its back facing left.

Motherboards AV6 to AV9 use the 605 optical drive with a 21-pin connector. The Fenrir Pro can be directly inserted into the Saturn motherboard's 21-pin connector with the IC/component side of the PCB facing left.

Motherboards AV10 to AV15 use the 608 optical drive with a 21-pin connector. The Fenrir Pro can be directly inserted into the Saturn motherboard's 21-pin connector with the IC/component side of the PCB facing left.

The illustrated installation guide above should cover all Sega Saturn motherboard models. Of course, it also supports the GPS car navigation version for Hi-SATURN, which installs similarly to the VA0 or VA1 models.
