Description:

- The communication interface is RS422/UART compatible. When shipped, it can be configured as either RS422 or UART (3.3V logic level) interface according to user requirements. Users can also solder relevant components according to the instructions and configure them as the required interface.
- The RS422/UART interface is physically DB9, and both power supply and communication are implemented through this interface. Whether it is the RS422 interface or the UART interface, the signal and power are isolated, with a signal isolation voltage of 6000V and a power isolation voltage of 5000V. Isolation is safer and can reduce common mode interference, resulting in better signal quality.
- ADS1299 is driven by STM32 processor to achieve EEG acquisition.
- By issuing commands, the serial port baud rate can be configured to 115200 or 921600, supporting multiple sampling rates such as 250, 500, 1000, 2000, etc. The maximum support for synchronous sampling is 2000 sampling rate in 8-channel and 1000 sampling rate in 16 channel.

Typical Application 2: Through UART port and Raspberry Pi board communication, the Raspberry Pi controls the acquisition board to achieve EEG acquisition.
- At this point, configure the acquisition board as a UART interface and connect it to the DB9 interface of the acquisition board through the 4, 6, 8, and 10 pins of the Raspberry Pi. In the Raspberry Pi, communicate with the acquisition board through the serial port to complete EEG data acquisition.
- Other boards with strong processing capabilities, such as STM32F7/H7 series or even FPGA, can be used to control the acquisition board through UART port to achieve EEG acquisition.
