Description:
- GC-1201S two channel cache isolation RS485 Hub is a communication device that supports two RS485 master station devices and one or more RS485 slave station devices. It is used to solve the problem of communication conflicts caused by two master stations communicating with slave stations at the same time. When master station 1 queries slave station data, it will only return to master station 1 and not to master station 2; Querying data from master station 2 will only return to master station 2 and not to master station 1. The interface between the master station and the slave station adopts electrical isolation technology to protect the master station equipment from interference. The circuit design includes 15KV ESD protection and 5KA lightning surge protection devices, which can effectively isolate the harm caused by lightning strikes and static electricity to the equipment. Each of the three communication interfaces has a communication indicator light, which can visually display the status of each communication port. Transparent data transmission between the master and slave interfaces, communication format and baud rate can be set through software.

Communication Speed:
- Firstly, it should be noted that communication speed is mainly related to baud rate and data length:
The higher the baud rate, the shorter the data length, and the faster the communication speed; On the contrary, the slower the speed.
In addition, it also depends on the response speed of the slave station. The faster the response speed of the slave station, the higher the overall communication speed.
