GeeDiy AK4118 Digital Receiver Board Coaxial Optical AES I2S/DSD Inputs AK4118-RX with 0.96" OLED

Description:

New version AK4118 digital receiver board is a finished board. The board is tested before shipment.

It supports coaxial, optical, AES, and I2S/DSD inputs. You can select the input signal via buttons, and the selected signal will be displayed on the screen. Once the input signal is locked, the current sampling rate will be shown. The board also features power-off memory, automatically selecting the last-used channel on the next power-up.

For coaxial, optical, and AES inputs, the output is in I2S format. For I2S/DSD inputs, the output format matches the input format. (Note: Some users' optical interfaces may not support 192kHz; please use different equipment or switch to coaxial.)

Supported Signal Ranges:
* Coaxial, optical, AES: 16–24bit, 32–192kHz sampling rate
* I2S input: PCM up to 768kHz, DSD up to DSD512
* AK4118 Receiver Mode (Coaxial, Optical, AES): 32–48kHz → 512fs; 88.2–96kHz → 256fs; 176.4–192kHz → 128fs. For I2S input, the sampling rate depends on the source device providing the I2S signal.

DAT-IN (I2S/DSD Input Port):
* Can connect to USB interfaces or other devices outputting I2S/DSD signals.
* Can transmit DSD signals as well as DSDON or DSD sampling rate indicator signals.
* Simply connect the output I2S/DSD signals from other devices to the DAT-IN port using ribbon cables or Dupont wires. As long as the downstream decoder board supports the provided I2S/DSD signal, it will function correctly (otherwise it will not). When a DSDON signal is connected, it can be used to control the downstream decoder board's DSD/PCM mode (the decoder must support DSDON).
• High-level input = DSD mode
• Low-level input = PCM mode

The downstream decoder board must follow the same convention. Inputting a DSD signal requires decoder support; if the decoder does not support DSD, the input DSD signal will not work properly. If no external DSDON signal is used, the board's D/P port can control the DSDON input level:
• Open = high level
• Shorted = low level

The DAT-IN port is used to input external I2S/DSD signals. The input signals are directly mapped to the output port.

DAT-IN Interface Definition:
1 - DSDON
2 - GND
3 - DATA
4 - BCK
5 - MCLK
6 - LRCK
7 - ID1
8 - ID2
9 - GND
10 - MUTE

The DOUT port is the I2S/DSD output port. When using coaxial, optical, or AES inputs, it can only output I2S signals. When using the DAT-IN input, it directly maps the I2S/DSD signals from the DAT-IN port.

DOUT Interface Definition:
1 - DSDON
2 - GND
3 - DATA
4 - BCK
5 - MCLK
6 - LRCK
7 - OD1
8 - OD2
9 - GND
10 - MUTE

Unused signals do not need to be connected. If only using I2S, you can connect only pins 2–6.

The BUT interface is for external buttons, with the same functionality as the onboard buttons (note: these are buttons, not switches).

For users using an OLED screen, connect according to the same interface definitions to the corresponding OLED display port. For SLCD1602 (serial) screens, only 5V, GND, and SDA need to be connected, with SDA connected to the display's SD pin.
