Description:
This resistor board uses a large number of 0.1% precision resistors with copper leads and a low temperature coefficient of 25PPM. In contrast, many competing products use 1% tolerance resistors, which are not in the same class. The raw material cost for this board is significantly higher.
Advantages:
* The resistor board uses 0.1% precision resistors, not standard 1% resistors. The material cost difference between the two is dozens of times.
* The resistors are through-hole components, not SMD (surface-mount) types. SMD resistors have smaller pin spacing and are more susceptible to moisture, which can reduce resistance and lead to poor stability.
* We do not use DIP switches. Instead, we use gold-plated pin headers, as DIP switches have large contact resistance that negatively affects the accuracy of low-resistance measurements. Gold-plated pins have less than half the contact resistance of DIP switches.
